Razza and Halvol

A lizard-like humanoid from a late paleolithic species based on another world from . Razza is a frenzied barbarian who attacks with a technically advanced axe imbued with the consciousness of an interplanetary hero. It was violently earned through altercation on his home planet, in which a scavenging party of greed-driven youths from a loose familial egg-brood found a freshly crashed ship with the eggs inside.

Razza struggled amongst his siblings and cousins for dominance over the powerful artifact and came to know the personality of Halvol the 49th stored inside the axe’s ancient databanks. Since then, Razza and Halvol went on numerous quests together, each sparked by Halvol’s sense of righteousness and maintained by Razza’s ferocious hungry and basal attraction to shiny things. However, their experience would be put to the test as the pair were somehow transported to a distant planet.

Razza met several other heroes in the Dragon Empire and forged simple, strong ties with them. They led him through the countryside and forced him into challenging altercations with all manners of monsters. The violence was outstanding. By the end, Razza had not only been forged into a powerful warrior, but a cleverer creature. He understood trade and worked to imitate his peers and fall in with the group. Before long, he was well on his way to glory in the new world. Razza was renowned as a bloodthirsty champion just as much as his strange appearance.

However, his adventures soon led him to fight the hungriest of horrors, the Stone Thief. Inside, Razza found that, for him and Halvol, return to their planet seemed unlikely, but possible. It was not until deciphering a databank with the Oracle that he realized the journey would be an arduous one - to recover and assemble a long-crashed ship. Knowing this, Razza knew he’d need an army for the task, and set about the plan to gather land and grow a clan of his cousins, who he presumed might be scattered throughout the world assuming some greater reason for his arrival in the Dragon Empire. 

So, the lizard-man left his party to the front of a dangerous war between dwarf and elf to appear as their axe-wielding champion and earn a great sum of land obtained from the Dwarf king; alongside those many acres, the land he purchased from a friend and party member, Dame Kiri Jadespine, would make a large swath of natural swamp where he could collect and grow a new clan which would, in time, find the massive ship and take his people home.

Still, the war is only beginning and while Razza fights, the party continues to change the face of the world around it, including ferreting out the threat that is the Great Ghoul, claimed to be the deathly provocateur of the war. Seeking to stop the snowballing of the Great Ghoul’s power, the party grows closer to finding a key success against the ancient foe, Razza might yet return to save the Dragon Empire alongside them and save the world serving his foster.
