The heavily armored shark prefers to patrol the shallow
waters of coral reefs near many coastlines. Their thick shell
provides them ample protection from larger predators, as well
as serves a countermeasure against the stings of a good deal
of prey that hide within the safety of the reef.
Due to its close vicinity to many beaches and coastlines,
coralfang sharks are a common threat to many humanoids, as
they tend to target humanoids if there is no ample food in the
area.
