The leaders of Hinokoku are from a long line of sorcerors. Tracing their magical abilities to a draconic ancestry they attribute to their right to rule. As such, draconic sorcerors and other similarly draconic traits are highly respected among Hinokoku. During ceremonies the emperor rides atop the back of a large drake carrying their decadent throne.
Off the coast of Sunmarai, the island nation of Hinokoku controls the waters with an iron fist. Reigned by the dragon ruler they so valiantly uphold and boast their strength. In the past Hinokoku were conquerors and now are in a moment of reprieve and making amends.
