If you can manage to cut through the arcane language, the study explains how Eorzeans lack a thorough understanding of Aether and have mistakenly called "Dark Aether" as the killer, and "Light Aether" as the life bringer. When, in reality, they are simply two sides of the same coin: acceleration and deceleration.
