At the edge of Leilon where the town meets the marsh you find the Barge Yard. Without them these boats trade and transportation would be near impossible this close to the Mere Of Dead Men.The barge master is a gruff elderly female dwarf named Rorsta who works under Valdi's supervision. She tends to the boats and manages them, renting them out and sometimes even offering her services as a guide.
Six mud-covered barges are chained together and beached at the edge of Leilon where the town meets the marsh. The barges hold up to six Medium creatures and have a maximum speed of 2mph. They are otherwise identical to a rowboat. They are available to be rented for a single day for trips to Leilon Point or a ten-day .
In addition there is a larger keelboat, intended as mobile base within swampy areas. On it, a gleaming harpoon indicates the presence of a ballista. The Keelboat needs at least two people to man the oars to make it move and a person on the helm to steer. It is otherwise identical to a keelboat.
