—intro—
Utilizing the magic aspects of bewitchment, Ina created a new form of familiar binding utilizing a wide range of marine life.
You can be bound to this curse by binding yourself to a fish familiar in a charged ritual circle, but do know the risks of this act.
The side affects come in waves over the span of days, ending with complete or semi mutation of the cursed body.
During the ritual, the chosen organism becomes charged with elemental magic, eventually being nothing but energy and absorbing itself into the cursed users soul.
—the transformation—
The list below will mention the levels of the curse by days, starting with the day of the ritual.
Day one: your body temperature lowers, eyesight increasing a slight bit, and you grow fatigued at a quicker rate.
Day two: you would experience a shortness of breath, walking would begin to feel orthodox and alien, and small patches of scales would begin to appear on the cursed users skin.
Day three: more scales would appear, breathing above water would feel nearly painful, but manageable. Your ears and hands may experience a change such as webbing.
Day four: the final day of the curses transformation, breathing above water becomes nearly impossible and painful, scales have grown all over the users body, gills and new organs developed in place of old human ones.
—conclusion—
The curse can be counteracted. Shattering a heart of the sea or origin orb could free you from the curse, or stop the transformation, yet side affects will always prevail such as scale patches.
