He created champions to kill all the races but the halflings – he saw all others that grew from the orgininal halflings as an abomination and mistake – created by magically engineering the flesh – the results – orcs, goblins, gnomes, even humans, were a curse on the land
Each of his champions was placed in charge of annihilating one of the new races
But his champions were human, as he couldn’t find halflings evil enough to pusue his plans, and when his human champions discovered his plans they turned on him
They couldn’t kill him so instead they cast him into the plane of darkness.
Without the Raajat reigning them in his defiler champions turned the world into desert with their cursed magic that devoured life force to exert its power
Raajat has been lurking in the hollow ever since. He rages and tries to break into this realm again. There are those who say his face appears in giant sandstorms in the deep desert.
