As a result of the meeting stampede, Tony is at the receiving end of multiple broken pledges. He and Lyre have been absent from the bar.
In light of this, Colby is vying to seize The Summer Court from Tony. Lyre challenged her for rule, and the other court heads seem pretty self satisfied.
Concurrently, Thorn gets a sense that Michael is very satisfied with the shaking up of the status quo.
Lyre has elaborated that she intends to duel Colby with pistols, as it is the quickest way to resolve the issue.
Tony is met by the gang, and seems somewhat recovered since the meeting incident. However he is still frail, and greatly affected by the death of Sam.
Michael, seemingly dissatisfied with the progress of either Tony or Colby, is trying to organize a meeting of his court in light of this.
When leaving the bar, the gang overhear Drake, 'customs officer' for the Freehold, make a passing comment that he hadn't seen Lyre in a while. This is concerning, as the gang feels as if they saw her at the goblin market, and therefore speculate that she never reported whatever she bought.
Michael has the meeting where he totally doesn't advocate for causing a coup. Thorn suggests that everything should go ahead as previously planned, "Gather up fighty bois, gather up science bois, learn about it, then attack it at a time it would be weakest. Everyone who has contacts in appropriate courts should be talked to as well so we can put together an apolitical group." He does this through demonstration of raising hands, which Michael seemed a little maybe miffed about.
