Hannah learns through a letter from estate lawyers that her father has apparently passed away, and that she is required to attend a meeting regarding some sort of inheritance.
She calls the lawyer in charge of the estate, and he passes on some contact information to the family. They also request she comes by the office with some form of ID.
Max Brookes calls up Hannah to meet up at some point in time. Hannah puts it off until she can determine if she has a Fetch.
Elise says that she can try and canvas for locked facebook accounts that her Fetch may own.
Clint Castro is hired to investigate Hannah's fetch, confirming through a vision that she indeed has one and it may be in some tenuous contact with her family.
In the meantime, Max texts Hannah anxiously about meeting up, expressing some concern for her safety and offering to help her if it is 'drugs or something else.'
Max and Hannah meet! They are both very awkward, but Max seems to wholeheartedly believe Hannah and respects her boundaries. He reveals that he is worried about their mother, who has been acting strangely since Hannah disappeared.
Hannah visits her mother in the guise of her brother, only to see that she has a pledge. Much discussion ensues on what that could mean and how to deal with it.
