The gang enters the hedge. The thorns shift around in response to them, and they note some light use as they move.
The Pig awakens and asks for his Mother. Hannah is able to convince him that his mother wants them to go where they're going.
As they walk, the biomes begin to rapidly shift. They stop to find some fruit, only to hear whistling. Thorn, Hannah, and the Pig flee, after the Pig decides to scoff goblin fruit.
Delphinium tries to hide, and is confronted by a strange beast. It sports insectoid legs and a four faced head of different animals: A lion, a goat, a monkey, and a wolf. She tries to convince the creature she would be poisonous, but fails.
Thorn tries to get Del. He distracts the monster by trying to throw some goblin fruit he had. The creature catches it and throws it back.
Del tries to convince it further that a chase would be fun, but Thorn is able to open up a fissure below the creature in the meanwhile. Del jumps over it and runs away with Thorn.
Hannah finds a hedge gate at a dead end. They open it and move into a garden in the LA Zoo and Botanical Gardens. They are sad they still appear as monsters.
Deciding to get out of there, they jump a fence and get out of there. Del and Hannah also try to convince the Pig they did nothing wrong.
