Entry.062 - Imprisoned

• The child the group rescued from the Trolls seems to be a half-orc / half-elf (or half-half-elf)
  • their name is Niakosh or "Ako" for short
  • young druid apprentice from Allanar in the north of the Taesi Forest
  • refers often to a Lady Venra, who seems to be their druid mentor
  • Ako was sent to Fala Taesi as a trial to "see if you can find the way yourself" and to visit the various druid circles around Fala Taesi (e.g. Circle of the Coast)
  • Ako already visited the Dream, Moon and Stars circle
• Group decides to go back to Fala Taesi
• On their way, they find an mysterious old ruin that later turns out to be an ancient arcane prison of the elves
  • inside was a demonic looking creature with leathery skin and wings and a very old human-ish face - that didn't want to be bothered by the players while playing with small bones and a polished fancy looking stone
  • the creature did not have any motivation to interact with the party and did not have any hope that the players can free it (many seem to have tried)
  • meanwhile, Zesolis walked into the prison and got trapped and tased himself multiple times in attempts to break out
  • the group tried to get him out while Sanosch detected that the remains of the dead prisoners that are scattered in the prison have a good chunk of valuables with them
  • after debating and investigating four about an hour, the players finally find a way to deactivate the force barrier of the prison by drinking the water of the stone fountains around the prison and succeeding on different saving throws
  • Zesolis is able to grab a bottle of unidentified liquid and strange looking chitin gloves that one of the skeletons was wearing
    • but he aged ~8 years worth of time in the hour that felt like years for him
    • and he is still naked..
  • the demonic creature, stunned by the group's success, also leaves the prison, with a favor to pay

Mikasdre's Night Journey

• While keeping night watch, Unknown is engaged by a raven that holds a dragon scale in its beak
• Mik follows the raven out of the camp onto a small hill where - inside a ring of dozens of raven - kneels a hooded man
• Unknown, a childhood friend of Mikasdre from the Northern Temple of the Ravenmother reveals his face and greets Mik by hugging her
  • he tells her that the temple was rebuilt and the Ravenmother wants Mikasdre back as a cleric
  • and that everything in the past has been forgiven and everything is gonna be better soon
• After an uncomfortable discussion between the two, Jarno gets bossy and attempts to hold Mikasdre with magic
  • Esperanza - Mikasdre's pet - is able to free her and she makes her way back to the camp
• Leaving Jarno on the hill, he shouts after her, that he will make her see the truth soon and that he only wants her best
  • his hood transforms into raven wings and he flies away
• Back at the camp, Mikasdre prays to her deity that she calls "Ambrotan"
  • after a while, a white fox without a face comes out of the bushes near her and a human face forms on the small fox
  • the fox is of course Ambrotan and he talks to Mikasdre, trying to calm her, ensuring that everything was under control and that the boy was no match for her anyways
  • Ambrotan jokes around some more and then leaves Mikasdre again, promising her that he will make sure she doesn't get snatched by the Ravenmother
