Biology: Lithoids are a silicon based species with many unique biological features. Their reproduction is purely asexual, with a 'pebble' growing from the exterior carapace, the pebble has to be planted in a mineral dense soil or fallen tree stump. The pebble grows to maturity in 1 Earth year before digging out of the ground as a adult, during the gestation process the Lithoid pebble does not grow but instead saps nutrients using roots that grows from its exterior shell.
