In the ancient past, long before the rise of mortals and the creation of kingdoms, Avada was a realm of unbridled chaos. It was a place dominated by the Elemental Titans—beings of immense power who controlled the primal forces of nature. They roamed Avada, endlessly shaping and reshaping the land with their elemental fury. Fire scorched the land, water drowned it, winds tore through the skies, and the earth shook with constant upheaval. Life could not flourish in this volatile world.
When the Gods first descended upon Avada, they saw its boundless potential. The gods—creatures of creation and order—desired to craft life, harmony, and civilization upon this raw and powerful canvas. They were filled with visions of growth and beauty, dreaming of a world where life could thrive. But the Elemental Titans, ancient forces of destruction and creation, stood in their way. Life, once created, was torn apart by elemental storms, quakes, and floods before it could ever take root.
Thus, the Gods realized they had no choice: they would have to challenge the Titans in battle if their vision of a living world was to come true. So began the Primal Element War, a conflict of cosmic proportions that would shape the future of Avada and bring the formation of the world’s first great landmass, Tiannorma.
The Titans of the Elements
The Elemental Titans were not mere beings of raw power; they were the very forces of nature incarnate. The Titans existed beyond morality and beyond time, their only purpose to create and destroy with the pure, unbridled power of their respective elements. Four great Titans stood at the center of this conflict:
Ignarok, the Flame Sovereign: A towering colossus of molten rock and eternal flame, Ignarok was the embodiment of fire. Wherever Ignarok walked, volcanoes erupted, forests burned, and the earth cracked beneath waves of lava.
Tydriis, the Tidal Colossus: A massive being of living water, Tydriis controlled the oceans with terrifying might. Entire regions were swallowed by the seas whenever Tydriis unleashed her wrath, and her power made the creation of coastlines and rivers an impossibility.
Terrakarn, the Mountain Lord: The embodiment of stone, rock, and earth itself, Terrakarn was a vast titan who could raise mountains with a thought and bring them crumbling down with a step. Earthquakes and landslides followed wherever he roamed.
Aerithraxis, the Tempest Warden: A swirling mass of storm and wind, Aerithraxis was the master of the skies. His hurricanes and tornadoes ravaged the land, scouring the surface of Avada and making it impossible for life to thrive beneath his tempestuous reign.
These Titans cared nothing for the creation of life. They were forces of nature, bound to their endless cycle of destruction and rebirth, reshaping the world to their own primal will. The Gods knew they could not coexist with the Titans, and thus, the war began.
The War Unleashed
The Primal Element War tore across Avada, and the land, still unformed, became a battleground for divine and elemental power. Each god, representing a force of life, order, or creation, fought to subdue the chaotic energy of the Titans. The conflict shook the very fabric of existence, and the landscape twisted and shattered under the colossal battles that followed.
The Battle of Fire and Light
At the heart of the war stood Ignarok, the Flame Sovereign, whose rage and fury threatened to reduce the world to ash. Against this fiery titan stood Edemontae, the Light Bringer, Lord of the Dawn, and the Golden Stag, God of the Sun, Light, Birth, and Renewal. Edemontae, with his radiant horns gleaming like the first rays of dawn, embodied life itself. He was the bringer of spring and music, of art and joy, and in his light, hope flourished.
The battle between Ignarok and Edemontae raged across the skies and earth, with volcanoes erupting in waves of molten fury as the ground shattered beneath their conflict. Edemontae wielded the power of the sun, his radiant light piercing through the storms of ash and fire. His dawnlight slowly weakened Ignarok's fires, and with a final burst of celestial brilliance, Edemontae smote the Flame Sovereign, shattering him into embers. With Ignarok’s defeat, fire no longer consumed all of creation, and life could finally bloom.
The Ocean’s Fury
To the west, over the rolling seas of Avada, the Tidal Colossus Tydriis challenged the gods, her power threatening to drown the world beneath her massive waves. Against her stood Valoorl, the God of the Sky and Stars. With wings made of starlight, Valoorl summoned the heavens themselves to battle the endless tides. The wind and the stars collided with Tydriis’ surging waves, and for a time, the oceans ruled the battle.
But Valoorl was relentless, his mastery over the stars giving him the advantage. With a single command, Valoorl summoned a celestial storm, and the skies opened. Starfire rained down, crashing into the seas and parting them, while Valoorl’s winds tore Tydriis’ body apart, forcing her to retreat to the Elemental Plane of Water. In her defeat, the oceans were tamed, allowing rivers and lakes to form, bringing balance to the land.
Earth's Unyielding Might
Terrakarn, the Mountain Lord, was one of the fiercest opponents the gods would face. His colossal form reshaped the land with every step, raising mountains, crushing valleys, and sending tremors that reached the heavens. Against him rose Ortal Fire-Mane, the God of the Forge, Earth, and Fire. The two titans of earth clashed, causing the ground itself to break beneath their feet.
Ortal, with the strength of the forge, struck Terrakarn with hammers forged in the heart of stars. Their battle lasted for centuries, shaking the very bones of Avada, but in the end, Ortal bound Terrakarn with chains made of divine metal and cast him into the Elemental Plane of Earth. The land beneath Avada finally grew calm, fertile, and stable.
The Tempest Falls
High above the skies, Aerithraxis, the Tempest Warden, raged uncontested, summoning hurricanes and tornadoes that obliterated everything in his path. His stormy fury was challenged by Lannalra, the Mother Goddess of Dragons, the Prismatic Dragon who embodied all the colors of the elements and the natural balance of the world. Lannalra, in her true form as the great Prismatic Dragon, soared into the heavens to meet the Titan of Storms.
Their battle was one of titanic winds and elemental power. Lannalra’s prismatic scales reflected the raw fury of the storm, and with every clash, the sky itself was torn apart. But the Mother of Dragons proved the stronger, banishing Aerithraxis to the Elemental Plane of Air with a final roar that echoed across the sky. The winds calmed, and the skies were finally free of eternal storms.
The Shaping of Tiannorma
With the Titans vanquished or banished to their elemental planes, the gods could now focus on the true purpose of their war: shaping Avada into a world where life could thrive. The raw chaos of the elemental forces subsided, and the gods began to weave their powers across the land.
As the gods worked together, the landmass of Avada slowly formed into a single great continent, which they named Tiannorma, the First Land. Mountains, rivers, lakes, forests, and plains now held their place, and the first seeds of life could finally take root. The chaos that had once reigned supreme was now brought under divine order, and the gods began to craft the first mortal beings to inhabit this newly shaped world.
The Legacy of the Primal Element War
The Primal Element War became the foundation of all creation in Avada. It marked the triumph of the gods over the primordial forces that sought to keep life from flourishing. Tiannorma became the cradle of life, where the gods’ creations—humans, elves, dragons, and countless other creatures—grew and spread across the land.
But though the Titans were banished, their influence was never truly gone. The Elemental Planes still touched Avada in subtle ways, and the primal forces of fire, water, earth, and air remained powerful in the world. Over time, mortal mages, scholars, and warriors would learn to harness these ancient forces, while others would seek to unlock the secrets of the Titans themselves.
And though the gods had won the war, they remained vigilant, knowing that the balance they had created could one day be challenged again, by forces as ancient and untamed as the very world itself.
