The gate sits at the top of the bridge between the Old and New town in Jonstown.
The Culbrea offered sacrifices to the ghosts of those who died at the The Battle of Grizzly Peak and asked them to prevent any Lunar Empire entering. When the Lunar Empire invaded, the Lunar magicians found a way to guard their citizens against the ghosts; even so, when initiates of the Lunar religion pass through the gate, the stones groan.
