The driver of the bus with the missing children has been found and is recovering at University of Miami Hospital. He was severely dehydrated, disorientated, and suffering from a number of wounds. Detectives have attempted to question the elderly man, but he has yet to be coherent enough to supply answers.
The driver of the bus, Mr. Franklin Morrow, was able to give a preliminary statement to detectives. Details are being withheld, however, a confidential source has informed us that he fears the worst for the missing children. (Miami Herald)
Mr. Franklin Morrow has been moved off of the critical list and is now in stable condition. ABC news will be interviewing the driver for their morning news program.
Several of the missing children were found in an abandoned house known to be used by both dealers and users. Acting on an anonymous tip, Sheriffs deputies raided the house and this led to the deaths of a few residents of the hovel. The children are being kept under strict observation at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. Though they have yet to speak of their ordeal, detectives are quite hopeful as they work with specialists at the hospital.
