The Reborn, otherwise known as Mummies, were mortals that went through a Ritual altering their spirits, or souls. This spell caused these individuals to constantly be reborn and to live for thousands of years. While still technically mortals, with heartbeats, respiration, children, and other such nuances of life, they are also Undead. They exist on the threshold of life and death through eternity.
