Broken Vow

Dr. Devon A. Lawrence arrives in Miami as newly appointed Archon of the Camarilla in the service of Justica Godefroy of Clan Ventrue. 

it turns out that he is actually Laura van Vries sire, a truly sadistic and cruel vampire, from whom she had escaped. After a series of messages regarding his missing childe, he moved to return her to his control. 
he set about learning as much of the cities politics, undead, and of clan Malkavian. He found that Dr. Cathal Erhard and Dr. Calvin N. Hobbes were the most exposed due to their feeding habits and he eventually was able to ghoul them through magical means and deception. 

Once he had them under his control he made his presence known and forced Laura to choose one either Cathal or Calvin to dialberize. Luckily, for Cathal, Simone Durond was protecting him and moved to rescue him which left Calvin to her fangs. 

He then moved to 'secure' his wayward childe and destabilize the other Malkavians to weaken the local clan.
