Guildmaster is rank in the The Hitchhiker's Guild, applied to a Guildsman who has achieved a degree of authority among their peers in the The Hitchhiker's Guild.
The roles of a Guildmaster are generally more sedentary than those of a Journeyman or Apprentice. They train, initiate, and serve as the static portion of the Hitchhiker network. They have some privileges of authority over lower-ranking members, though these are quite limited.
Those elevated to Guildmaster generally have many years of experience as a Journeyman, and have the respect of peers in their local network. Those who cannot travel for reasons of health generally try to develop their skillset in this direction.
