"Poker, Spelling Bees, Hot Dog Eating Contests - none of these fit the mold, but we'll air them anyway. But football, basketball, baseball - they all fit the mold. This is our bread and butter. Moldy balls. If it's got balls, we've made a film on it. This is our culture - we cultivate a culture on moldy balls, and we love everything about it. When you step on a basketball court, there are sights, and sounds, and smells. We want to bring the pungent moldy balls to the public. And that is why, beginning in 1989, all of our broadcasts will be in Smell-o-Vision, with an optional Pay-Per-Lick taste module. This will be supported by sensors on all participants, from the players to the cheerleaders."
