Raised in the Outside, in a semi-primitive scavenger upbringing. Spent his early life building Fury Road-style Rigs for a nomadic raider group. Got chased out of the Great Plains by a consolidated warband. Came to Henderson and worked as a scavenger/mechanic for Henderson Circle of Friends. Eventually his lady-type bought it and he got sick of Earth. He wanted a change, so he booked passage on the first ship he could.
Has an implanted respirator to treat his COPD, inflicted by years living in the Outlands.
