Though Haaru cuisine is diverse, certain patterns hold true across their various cultures.  

The Oviparous Palate

As an oviparous species, Haaru have a general distaste for the consumption of eggs. Conversely, they have no taboos on eating fetal meat, as in the case of Gekepeshiyik.
