Summary
No clue as to why I enjoy writing about dystopias far more than working societies ? But ULGSCR was originally intended as the closest thing to “the good guys” in the setting, and the most conducive to a Star-Trek style vibe.
History
Arose far after the AI wars from an amalgamation of collectivist dissidents & refugees from the meat-grinder ULISIS & hierarchical Progenitor Empire.

Economy
The ULGSCR is post-scarcity: as the fruits of automation and resource opportunities of the VEA gates are distributed equitably, people are not deprived of the surplus value of their labor.
Currency is not outlawed, but not used or issued by the state. People may create and circulate their own currencies but it’s not a widespread practice, and generally viewed as a mercenary practice not befitting a good person.
Culture
Fully cosmopolitan - accepts all species of all origins, and many do indeed take the opportunity to join. Membership is entirely voluntary, and has no entry or exit costs.
