From Afrikaans Ou Masjiene ("Old Machines").
A heavily industrial ward, part of the original mining colony. When mining operations were suspended, most of the facilities remained. By the time the economy recovered enough to resume mining, the machines were in disrepair and largely obsolete. They still occupy much of the space of this district.
The structures here are utilitarian but sturdy, so it's still quite populated. An industrial hotspot for the Station.
