Shreveport is the hub for the Western Reach. It lacks waterway bottlenecks that would make it easily defensible, so the city itself has been heavily fortified to protect from raiders. It has extended its influence and protection as far as Lagrambouche, and is the closest thing to a state in the region.

After the Invasion of Menfis, Shreveport becomes the biggest slave hub in the Mississippi-connected waterways.
