This temple is guarded by a statue of a true Champion of Kord.
Sometime between 822-823 AB, Hades Asteron, with the joined strengths of Sybil Loreweaver, Markos Heedin, and Lux O'Malley, proved himself a champion of Kord. Hades, with much of his friends' help, passed the test of the temple & was bestowed the Fury of Kord. A statue of Hades has stood at the mountain top ever since, awaiting the next challenger(s) to prove themselves worthy of Kord's might.
