Known by many names & locations, the city of Mirage is known for always rebuilding following an attack, invasion, crusade, etc.
Due to its important location of the Steel Road, the city of Mirage endures. It has been razed on many occasions by armies headed to Alabastron, local monsters, or by Alabastron itself, either in a defensive scorched earth move or to assert dominance over a problematic ruler. Despite the damage, merchants inevitably congregate around the useful ruin and a settlement rekindles from the ashes, only to be threatened again at a later date.
