Ankh-Morport, the vibrant heart of the Firetide Conclave, stands as a testament to resilience and adaptation. Nestled at the convergence of the Ankh-river and the scorched coast, this capital city emerged from the ruins of the past, Created by the Hariq Kingdom after the Glowfall Cataclysm that reshaped the Northlands.

The cityscape is a harmonious blend of architectural elegance and desert practicality. As if painted by time, the buildings are crafted from the warm embrace of sandstone, a material both sturdy and adaptable to the arid environment. Rows of graceful structures stand atop gray stone foundations, seamlessly integrating into the landscape. Tall minarets and ornate domes punctuate the skyline, showcasing the city's devotion to artistry even amidst its utilitarian foundation.

The Ankh-River, a lifeline in this unforgiving terrain, winds its way through the heart of the city, forming the lifeblood that fuels its vitality. Four bridges elegantly connect both sides of the river, while a picturesque island rises from the flowing waters, adorned with a myriad of temples representing various faiths. These holy sanctuaries stand as a testament to the city's commitment to spirituality and inclusiveness.

Within the city's embrace, the Firetide Council convenes in the Hall of Law, a bastion of governance where pivotal decisions shape the nation's fate. Majestic temples on the central island whisper devotion to diverse deities, while the imposing Dunwall Fort on the northern side stands sentinel, a guardian to the city and its inhabitants.

Ankh-Morport, a city etched in sandstone and woven with history, bears the legacy of its past while embracing a future of unity, progress, and prosperity. It is a living testament to the enduring spirit of those who dare to thrive amidst the harsh embrace of The Hariq desert.
