The Land:
The land around Xylostarik is an incredible forest that was lifted from the ground when the breaking occurred, not only this island but a series of islands around it create a chain of incredibly lucrative floatwood forests. Xylostarik stands as one of the largest exports of floatwood in all of Estir.
The City:
The city is formed in the center of the skyland surrounded by dense forestry which grows at an invasive rate. The city is quite populous as it acts as a huge center of trade export with supply lines to each of the kingdoms.
The People:
The people of Xylostarik are diverse and hardworking, as the original settlers had to carve a place in the center of a forest that struggled against their every move.
There is a divide between the original settlers and the citizens who have moved their since the expansion of the city. The original settlers believed they worked hard for their place in the city and have earned a higher position, even if they are just the descendants of the original settlers.
The Government:
The government of Xylostarik is ran by the city guard which is owned by nobles, the original settlers of the island. They are under the whim of the nobles and are completely bought out.
Criminals:
The criminal activity within Xylostarik is rampant. With the huge capacity for trade lines from and to the city, smuggling is a huge industry for the criminals involved. This city is a large asset for the Void Community, Katais Order, and Agents of Avarcus.
Trade:
Xylostarik’s trade is entirely reliant upon its export of rich floatwood. It also imports a lot of valuable resources from other kingdoms, creating a source of trade that is constantly flowing.
Districts:
- Float District: This area was created to accommodate for the bustling trade routes of Xylostarik. It is basically an inland skyport combined with a booming market district.
- Forest District: Where the nobles live away from the rest of the population.
- Trunk District: Where the bulk of the population of Xylostarik lives, local businesses flourish with the needs and wants of locals in mind.
- Branch District: Where the city guards live with their families, as well as where the official buildings are for the guards.
- Leaf District: Where the financial buildings are and business people live.
