Bugbears are large hairy beings with an impressive amount of strength, though they tend to lurk in the shadows and try to stay out of the way of other races. 

Diet

Bugbears tend to be always hungry, as they are creatures with a strong build who use a lot of energy. Bugbears are actually omnivores but they much prefer eating meat and eggs.

Bugbears, like other goblinoids, could be described as somewhat dim-witted and brutish. This claim is not unfounded as they oftentimes have easily provoked tempers and prone to rages. Few bugbears can become integrated into normal society, and this typically is only seen within major cities. In most cases however, Bugbears have a tribal-like society, much like other Goblinoids. 

A typical Bugbear tribes values two things, fighting and food. Bugbears enjoy eating meat and like to hoard other foods such as nuts or eggs. A popular Bugbear saying is "Plan when full, attack when hungry."

In some towns where Bugbears roam nearby, the species has become a bit of a legend, the "boogeyman", mainly a warning for young children to not wander about at night.
