Threlvund the Breaker was the chieftain of the Frost Giants on the norther Isle of Reus.
Threlvund the Breaker was a massive Frost Giant with a long white beard and a squat head. He wore a viking helmet with long horns that pointed straight to the sides, and an amalgamation of leather and metal armors collected across his torso and waist. These armor pieces were breastplates, jerkins, pauldrons, and other pieces worn by those who challenged him, and were broken beneath him. He wielded a warhammer befitting his size with a head of solid ice - he dips the handle into freezing water, and a fresh block of ice freezes whenever the ice breaks (which is frequent, and often shattered when the enemy was similarly broken).
Threlvund the Breaker climbed up the Ordning amongst the Frost Giants by defeating every chief and leader he challenged. As chieftain, he had enacted law requiring every outsider to challenge a Frost Giant and defeat them in single combat. Should they do so, they would be allowed to enter their settlements and walk amongst the Frost Giants.
