Ulrek was a general of the Fire Giants of the southern Isle of Reus. He wore ashen cloaks over light obsidian-scaled armor, moving lighter than the other Fire Giants, and wielded a long polearm with which to tap the ground in front of him to search for active traps.
Ulrek served as a general of the Magma Wardens, and presided over the defensive emplacements and traps around the islands. He and his sappers dug trenches, laid out barbed wire, and set massive hunting traps along the perimeter of the southern island as well as around the exterior of each of the defensive walls. He sought to make the terrain outside of the exterior wall impossible to cross without risk of incapacitation or severe injury, and laid his traps in a never ending schedule, verging on paranoia.
