The language of the original Elven species that came to be upon the continent of Aldmeris. While the Aldmeri people no longer exist since the schism that spawned the many species of Elf known today, the language has survived in noble practices. It is regarded as the common Elven language, today, even though the use of it is limited to those with enough acclaim, wealth, and power to learn it.
