"What do you mean 'what's Quintessence like'? I was born in Dallein's Port, I've never been off this plane"

Eleiox are borne of the four titanic elements, the elements of the four chief Primordial Titans whose bodies are said to have become the core of Quintessence. An eleiox tends to take on the physical characteristics of one of the four titanic elements, and tend to be categorised by which element they embody. A water eleiox, also known as a hydrox, might have constantly damp skin or hair, or perhaps they smell like a sea breeze. Or perhaps a fire eleiox, or a heliox, may have flames for hair and their voice has the background noise of a crackling campfire.

An air eleiox, also called a zephiox, may have their hair blowing in non-existant wind or cloud patterns across sky blue skin. While an earth eleiox, or a teriox, may have their skin made of stone and soil with veins of ore or gemstones as birthmarks. While some eleiox end up as fusions of these elements, or even some planar or celestial elements sprinkled in. It's not entirely impossible to find a magma eleiox, or even a sun or star eleiox, they are much rarer than their purely titanic kin.

Borne Of, Not On

The key characteristic of an eleiox is not that they are from Quintessence, though their power is of that plane. All eleiox are borne of the Plane of Titanic Elements, though many can and do trace their bloodline to the Plane of Quintessence. There are an existent minority of eleiox who are born on the face of Consarcio to human, or elven, or dwarven parents.

These eleiox born across the four continents, the Shattered Isles, and the many more islands of the world are often found born in places historically tied to the elements. Following a tragic volcanic erruption, there is a small uptick of heliox, teriox, and magma eleiox in nearby villages. Coastal towns and cities tend to be more prone to having hydrox born, while zephiox tend to be more common in mountainous or stormy regions.
