"What? Why are you calling on me? That person over there was raising their hand. They would be definitely more helpful than me"

Many of the stories of old talk of adventurers at the beginning of their careers searching for stolen items, taken by evil kobolds. And while true that kobolds share a similar kleptomaniacal personality to goblins, kobolds do not purposefully seek chaos. Most kobolds steal because they imagine that the objects they take can help them survive in some way.

Kobolds tend to fall in one of two different camps, the anxious and the cocky. The anxious of the bunch tend to shrink into themselves more often than most others. They tend to try and deflect any attention from themselves any chance that they get, trying to hide from anyone's focus. Meanwhile the cocky kobolds tend to draw in as much attention as they can. If they weren't so small, it might come across much more conceited, but their cuteness overwhelms the arrogance within.

Lesser Draconians

Much like how wyrmwight are the cousins of dragons, a kobold is a much more distant cousin to a dragon. Much like dragons and wyrmwight, you'll find kobold of manny different colours. Though unlike other draconions, their colour has no real dictation on the sorts of things they do, it is simply a vestigial morphismism.

Though kobolds do still tend to feel the pull towards draconic tendencies. For example, kobolds are naturally drawn towards the presence of a greater dragon. When a dragon abandons its egg or dies before hatching, kobolds tend to move in to help care for the egg and the hatchling. Aside from the lure of draconians, kobolds also have a tendency to hoard, though usually they're just trinkets and not actual valuables. And despite their diminutive size, they still have a full sized elder dragon's pride.
