Summer’s Peak the holy day of Ithar, the Morning Star, and is opposing to the holy day of Arum, the Dead Flower, Dusk Fallen. Summer’s Peak is the warmest day of the warmest season of the year. Summer's Peak is the one holy day that everyone looks forward to even if you aren't a follower of the Morning Star. It is celebrated with major feasts and gift-giving, children look forward to this day because it's the one day where they can get anything, and parents save money so that way they can purchase the gifts their children want. The gift-giving isn't the part that gives the Morning Star power, but rather the hope that the children have leading up to the day.
