This large bay surrounded by cliffs is home to an enormous Kraken. As a result the coastal road veers off into the surrounding woods as those using the road that runs along the cliffs risk being attacked by the creature. Traders and other knowledgeable travellers take the wood road and loop around the danger on there way to or from Calmhold.
