  • The village of Slyriver is attacked in the night by bandit raiders. They arrive by boat, burning and pillaging.
  • A great monster was birthed from the Marrow Tree in the village, a giant wolf, slick with marrow. The tree must have been a dormant portal for the diabolic.
  • The bandit's, named the Red Cap Ravagers, were led by one Greaves Redthorne, who enacted the grim summoning.
  • Few villagers made it out alive, either those quick and cunning, or those warned by the toll of the church bell.
  • The village of Slyriver, fell to dark forces, forever changed.
