Jeth asks Votig about the wolves. The wolves sounds started when Votig’s people were chased out. The person has a spirit wolf by their side.
Votig puts a hand on my shoulder. and asks if i’m ready. I put my arm around votig. “always, with you!”wehn we connect , I feel the same synergy that I feel with safira. Combo kalashtar reaction.
Votig isn’t sure what we are going into.
Votig must take on the mantle of the armor and then taking up the role of guarding these lands and purge the lands of whatever bad stuff is there. Once that happens, the portal to shadowfell will open and we need to go through. the Phandelver party will go to the Tower of Memories. and we will look for the merkul piece.
WE ascend the stairs. Raven throne. HOwling noise. (kinda like a howling wind).
Votig asks me to back her up. I turn into a dire wolf and mind link with votig. There is similar feeling that I feel when connecting with safira. I’ve never had this connection with anyone before. This is a really special feeling that I’ve never had before. I don’t want to lose this. (I;ve never really been with my kind much)

AS Votig completes each rituals with each stone, the howling gets louder and bigger and the lights get dimmer.
The runes start lighting up and a void portal starts appearing.
A 10ft tall uthgarde with wolf petl and such surveying the crowd.
The ash warden mind links with votig which because of my special connection, i can hear too. “what are you doing here. this is a sacred place” “I’m here to take the mantle. You’ve served your time. you are free”
GIANT spectral wolf comes out from behind. “not reliquishining anything”

Giant wolf flies to smig. I want to follow but I promised to protect Votig and stand by her and I WILL do my part.
I cannot see far with all this dim light (disadvantage on ranged).
Jeth banishes the GIANT wolf! damn Jeth.. (no big deal he says)
I attack the ash warden to protect votig. but I mind link with the ash warden and say that we have no need for quarrel.
Need to re-mindlink with votig.
Smig flies and the ash warden notices him and legendary actions smig.
I cast mind link and ask theperson why we can’t be friends. What do they want?
It speaks in every single language that I know at once. Disconnected and connected.
“you are of our blood but you know nothing. You have nothing to say” It says a derogatory term for pup at me. ((DM NOTE: Remember Bloodline and blood)
The party is getting wrecked. Smig falls from the sky. Jeth is at 7 Max Hp.
Smig drops himself onto the ash warden and they are both now prone on the ground next to us.
The ash warden really hates Jeth. Kills Jeth but Jeth hears in his head “no Fear. Remember no fear”The ash warden jumps on to the back of the flying wolf when Jeth’s concentration ends.
Dorbin heals Jeth back.
Safira nudges him.
The wolf rears back its head and howls!!
Jeth and Khashana get hit with this strong feeling from it’s howl but Khashana shakes it off and howls back.
Poor Jeth is having a hard time.
on the ground, deafeaned, head spiltting. Jeth take out the potion from dorbin.
Jeth barely gets up and banishes the beast again.
Khashana jumps down from cliffside after votig.
Asks the guy who is he and what does he want.
“he is the guardian and it’s his duty to do this role”
WHY???? says khashana
“this is the way it is”
THe real way is passing this duty on.
From what I know this should be an ancestor of votig. Balance of nature is key. Passing on the torch to the next generation. There is corruption abound.
The ash warden yells out once again in alll languages.
“you no not what you are getting into. This is my responsibility. The eyes are always watching. It is my job to guard you from this. even if that means destroying you”
“:YOU FOOLS. You know not what you do.” as dorbin kills the ash warden.
I check in with Votig.
The void portal thingy is still over.
I ask her how she is doing/feeling. She answers that she is fine. It was not a death but a release for them. I tell her that she did well, she pets me and snuggles.
IN the darkness, the wolf slowly faintly comes over. AS khashana and votig approach the giant wolf, it lays down and submits to votig.
Votig says that she must leave us now. She turns to the wolf and and accepts it. Her body falls and her spirit form appears, talking in all languages.
SHe will protect us. and make sure the portal opens back up again.
Ivy performs a ritual to protect the body until we get back and can bury her in her ancestral burial place.
Safira, Votig and Khashana have a moment and Safira’s life essence fades.
Smig and Ivy are extrememly upset. Ivy tries to rez her and I stop her. I explain that I have found my connection with my blood. This fey answered my call for connnection in the form of safira but now that I understand more about my people and myself, I can let go of safira’s physical form and call upon the fey anytime.
Smig is very upset.
Khas and votig now have a solid connection.
Shadowfell was once home to the raven’s queen seat of power. Tower of memories.
Evernight, the city. Sources of magic and thinness to other realms. It attracts beings from all over who are keen and aware enough to cross over.
Not a fun place to adventure in.
SMig, very upset, goes over to safira’s body and tries to connect with his patron. It goes really badly and he starts yelling and screaming and holding his head in pain.
Khashana goes over to pet Smig.
AS we sleep, the wolves and votig protects us and sings a song of warmth and sorrow at the same time.
Smig, I hope you know I am sleeping near you and safira. Trying to help you feel better after the worry I’ve caused you!
WHen we wake up from a long rest, Khashana needs to bring Smig over to her and perform the ritual together.

I have always been having a special connection to something. it has taken form into this sentient panther, safira.
I cast my mind into the fae world and connected to the safira.
Being a kalashtar actually is an ancient bloodline with a connection to fey.
Basically safira was never really a panther. more like a fey inhabiting a panther body that latched on to connect to my bloodline spirit and power.
Now that I know it’s name and have completed a ritual with votig, I can bring that fae back whenever,
