Marott brings us to the inn from last time and gets us housing. The council wants us provided for.
Food for everyone except Jeth goes straight to bed. and Khashana goes to the tree in the garden.
Dorbin, smig and ivy listens to the stories being played in the inn. The stories are more regailing the people more than the usual stories that reinforce the hierarchy.

I wake up a poor sleepy marigold and wet hugs. her. SHe is shocked to see me. i tell her about my stone adventueres.

The fog is thickining. travel doesn’t really happen. poeple living outside the city has disspaeared here and there. Neverwinter guards.
I ask about the town tower. I haven’t been here since we went through it. Marigold hesistats for a bit. That was a bit intense. Lord neverember sent a more capable mage to look after the tower. Scary looking battle wizards to stand guard. Still doing research but it’s more secret more safe.
Mire of dead men tower. 6 months ago, travellers on that road started dissapearinig. and the fog really started growing. Every once in a while when the fog clears, there are rumors that you can see the tower.
But marigold feels safe and okay. Leilon is okay. There are scary city people but it’s okay. With that, Khashana realizes how exhausted she is and askes to spend the night in the temple. and turns into a panther. Marigold gets her set up in her chambers with a fire.

Dorbin recives a letter from his grandfather. .Father and him didn’t agree much on the grandfathers’ brilliance on making weapons of warfare. and his parents took him away when he was a child. He heard through the grapevines that his grandchild is a brillant creator and woudl love the opportunity to meet them.
They will have to meet because he is on the council of gems but he would like to meet under family terms and has included a return letter/envelope.
Dorbin decides to write back and accept a meeting with his grandfather.
