Valon and I talk about what happened with my wings. I admit that I don't remember. Vlaon and I share that we both were adopted and Valon's family is missing and he is searching for them. Kas says that she doesn't remember anything before age 12 and she doesn't know where the wings came from.

Valon tries to give me food. I put the WHOLE thing in my mouth but don't know what else to do. Paws takes it back out and gives me a piece and tells me how to chew. I do and it's very difficult and I hacked it out.

Paws uses her watch to explain how paws and Kas met and Kasiana asks 'why' questions. Why did they grab a potato? etc. Kas for once is not looking around herself but is fully listening to paws's story. It's fasncinting and familiar but distant.

Cari is wathcing for wolves and bonding with the bear.
Valon's raven and harvey manage to guide us to the cave super easily. pretty far inland. coast is off the west however, distantly in the cave, sounds like crashing of wwaves.
The dark entrance of the cave shows just as the sun sets.
Valon asks gundrin if he can fight. Gundrin responds of course. remember we are searching for his brothers.
Valon and harvey leave the caltrop barrel by the entrance of the cave.

Kasiana goes to Paws and asks why gundrin is crying. Paws is having a hard time explaining about how sometimes when you spend a lot of time with someone and they die, you want to cry and Paws is trying not to cry. Kasiana asks if that means she should cry for Kas? Paws starts crying. "I spent a lot of time with her and now she is gone" Paws is bawling. Kasiana is confusing. she goes back and forth watching gundrin cry and paws cry and is trying to process this.
Valon says well gundrin, let's go get revenge and jumps off the pit with the rope.
Yorbin fails the rope and lands at valon's feet.

Paws finishes her peice of meat and tries to explain how to go down the rope.
I watch paws expertly slide down the rope and lands with a pose. Kasiana watches carefully and mimics it perfectly.
Paws teases Harvey, harvey poops on her hat, yorbin cleans it.

we need to fight to protect our life.. Paws shows me her wounds and says that she is woozy and dying and that's why we need to protect ourselves.
Valon grabs a creature and squeezes paws blood out and shows. Paws tries to grab her blood back.
