what is your level of ease and comfort?

Kas is not okay. Magic IS her. disconnected like when dead sorta.

people are being weird. people are scared and sad.

more worried about paws.

paws is emotionally exhausted and will sleep but not comfortable.

bits and fragments of masonery fall from the celing and walls. we all fall over except harvery!

The pillow fort lives somehow.

Irzuzs is agitated.

kedrick is still knocked down. 

kahrais, duri and koz come in asking if we are okay.

they seem concerened on where they are. 

auri seems a bit more concerened. 

calls and shouts from the courtyard below. rushing armored footsteps and calls just below the level of the noise of the storm.

guards gathering near the cellar door. shield protecting their heads. blocking something? I'm not meant for eyes. I called harvey. bird eyes.

stairway. abov them, a bit of the wall has caved down and is blocking the stairwell.

the guards are trying to figure out how to clear it.

harvey yells out ot he guards. what wrong with wall.

all of our food and provisions are down here. no idea how long the storm will last. need to clear this out.

Give us armor, we help! -harvey.

guards say yes. armory is in the barracks. help yourself!

vic grabs his own armor.

as we head out, vic askes paws. 

kas doesn't think she can really help but will try.

Vic tells paws that he accidently scared a guard at the barracks and maybe the very wise cat paws can help.

vic snapped back into guard captain mode. left for a reason. 

paws recommends saying sorry and paticular attitude from life and sorry. was wrong.

harvey leads the way.

has to jump over a chasm.

harvey makes it. chair is breaking. 10hp for chairs. minus 6 right now.

searos next. 2 hp left on chair.

vic 7hp chair 2pm left.

kas is barefoot and not a good jumper in a long dress.

5point of damaga. chair.

paws tries to make me go first. we rip my skirt. kas is not doing well. no jumping. no shoes. she is freaked out. 

paws reminds her about the landslide. Kas reminds her that she doesn't want to remember the landslide. Let's just go before someone else DIES.

Paws falls! she gets hurt. she manages to hold onto her chair.

Paws are you okay? YES 

Kas jumps the chasm then. if paws was not okay, she would have jumped to her. 

Vic's cheering her on to jump really helped!!

PAWS RUSHES THROUGH to the barracks.

meets the guard captain.

The captain is havina  meltdown. I shouldn't be the captain. i let everyone walk over me. 

Paws starts therapy cat.

Kas needs to check on Vic and Paws.

Kas uses her movement to look around the building for Vic after seeing Paws succesuful zoom by.

then knowing she won't make it, will dash back into the building to warm up her feet after calling out to Vic.

my chair is dead. and i'm not at the barracks.

Vic isn't really sure where he is going. he is guessing.

vic makes it to the upstairs of the barracks. chair is dead.

THis is really really going to start affecting Kas.

Will start trying to cast spells. freaking out. 

alone, cold, no magic, reminder of death. 

no furniture. 

Kas is BREAKING DOWN. She tries to cast mending on her chair and the wonky magic and it lights the chair on fire instead and kas is just gonna flop down there and break. 

She hears distressing sounds from the guards. all the guards have made it to the collaspse area.

Harvey looks for a shield and any kind of armor.

paws was going to therapy cat but is worried about Kas. sees a flash of light. realizes something is wrong.

1d4 sets of armor and shield.

paws is grabbing a pairs of socks and boots and the shield.

Kas is crying. Magic is wonky. it feels wrong. it feels like I'm dead in a way again!

This is the moment that we see that Kas is freaking out about magic. holding ash. no more distraction.

Paws lets kas vent.

kas cries. hugs, squishes paws arm. and then takes a big breath. thanks paws.

you had your own problems though. you didn't need mine.  

we are friends! we share. we will get through this. we've been through worse.

Vic tries to make amends with the guard captian.

vic apologies and explains what made him stop. a big baattle. he was torn apart by undead. people thought he was gone and lost. 

vic tried to do his job again. and they threw him out. they didn't let him make that desicion.

The guard captain has never dealt with this kinds of events. how do you keep coming back??

the door bangs open and the 4 guards who were carrying in another guard, lifeless.

we found torren struck by a piece of falling rubble. 

vic, harvey and searos recognizes the guard as the one who was sent to get the party more blankets .

we need to check the foods, that the well is safe, create a awning.

asks us for a favor to clear that stairwell.

Kas and vic look at the body. right side of his helmet is enierly crushed in. he is truly dead.

Harvey senses fiendish presence still.

harvey wants to take a nap. searos too.

paws do pull ups. try and get back into their body. avoid thinking the storm is their fault.

1 hour

Kas looks at the body. talks to it. shaking. crying. paws immeditaley stops pull ups and comes over to cuddle kas. 

Guard captain back after 45 min. built a thing to help. ask for our help. excavation.

Vic askes the group if we want to stay or help. We aren't the strongest. 

Kas pats Torren one mroe time. says that hshe doesn't want him to be alone. she can't help much.

paws gives the shield to protect them both. offers her to stay behind. Kas doesn't want to be seperated. just one second. 

I don't know what's goin on. but I hope you are okay Valon. (the raven queen deals with death and life.. maybe valon is around. maybe the storm is affecting him.

vic goes without shield so that we can be safe. takes some damgage.

we make it to the temporary awning above the rubble. ready to help.

Kas will try to heal calling from within instead. healing hands. eyes light up? A fear of DEATH.

Kas is breathing. she is shaky but stable right now. her mask has cracked.

Kas is crying. Magic is wonky. it feels wrong. it feels like I'm dead in a way again!

oh great. there is death.
