There are two major landmasses known to the Monarchy of Alvarium.
- Terra Oikos this continent is where the Alvarium is based along with several other civilisations.
- Most of the continent, at least around Alvarium is fertile grass lands, forests and mountains.
- Further north there are arid steppes ruled ruled over by barbarian warlords.
- To the west, beyond the dwarven mountains and the tribes of feral orcs can be found an expansive desert.
- To the south is the corrupted region known as the Blighted Wastes, beyond these lands lie swamplands and a vast jungle.
- Terra Peran is a newly accessible continent, though mentioned in historical texts it has been inaccessible due to a permanent magical storm that has only recently abated.
- Little of the continent has yet been explored, the land immediately around Haven is characterised by fertile plains, woodlands and some small mountain outcroppings with a larger mountain range visible to the south east - what lies beyond those mountains is yet to be known,
