I saw the meteor falling long before it did, like a whisper in my ear. I heard its distant screech echoing through the heavens, tearing them apart. It took us some months for us to notice its fallout. The first to come were the explorers, fleeing Drakenheim, we helped whomever we could. And then the raiders and the scavengers followed, hunting down anything and anyone they could find to survive. We learned to deal with them, many of ours fell, many of them too. But what came after them... It wasn't looking for food, nor shelter, it cared not for its kind, it felt nothing. That... doesn't belong in this world. I only saw it leave. A shadow in our home, that took everything from us. It took everything from me. I swore to take back revenge, and in order to so do; I'll become as powerful as I must, at whatever cost. One day, while preparing for an expedition I happened to cross paths with Slick stashing some goodies. And after throwing a few punches; we came to understand and respect each other briefly. He mentioned he'd be interested on going to Drakkenheim; so after more preparation, I finally decided to catch up.
