It is self-sustaining based on their fishing, hunting, and some farming on the southern tip of the island.
They thrive because of the vast landmasses at their disposal, and a lot of their children are born with some magical capabilities making heat a no-brainer.
There is also, for unknown reasons, a lot of Dragonborn on the island.
Some say they migrated there from the Naviri Isles after getting lost, but there are a lot of holes in that theory. Others say that they just appeared or were created by something sinister long ago, but this theory also has problems like how were so many created at once and where did it happen?
One thing, that is for certain, is that they came to Rimnos long ago, an invasion known as The White Death, settled there by force after meeting resistance from the locals, but after a few generations, they are at peace with their history and are locals just as much as their Tabaxi neighbours.
