The slimes of Mokk Fields, an integral part of the marsh's ecosystem and a valuable resource for mages and researchers, have grown excessively populous, disrupting the balance of life and death in the murky marshes. These oozes, namely caustic, shifting, and sticky slimes, possess unique magical properties and yield organic materials highly sought after in scholarly circles. However, their overpopulation threatens the delicate balance of the ecosystem and poses increased danger to adventurers and wranglers alike.

Magistrate Walden Krane of Winnowing Reach issues this cull order to manage the slime populations responsibly, ensuring the continued prosperity of Winnowing Reach and the safety of its inhabitants and visitors. This task requires not just strength and skill but also a deep understanding of the slimes' behaviors and properties to minimize ecological disruption and maximize the recovery of valuable slime residues.

Objectives

Caustic Slimes: Thin the numbers of caustic slimes, taking care to collect their potent acid for scholarly research. Exercise caution to avoid their lethal touch.
Sticky Slimes: Locate and manage sticky slime populations, ensuring to recover their adhesive residue without falling victim to their immobilizing secretions.
Shifting Slime Capture: Hunt for the elusive shifting slimes, collecting their bioluminescent and magical residue. Be wary of their ability to absorb and become immune to magic. Walden Krane will award a bonus if a Shifting Slime of any size can be brought back to him alive.
