The Llyr Gortias, or the men of the famine, are undead creatures that are brought to life from the crypts when a there is a famine in the land.

Appearance

"Of which two were frail and distressing to the eye, as their bones showed and their eyes withered. Blue and green moldy skin with rips and tears hugged their bones tightly, at least in the areas visible to the eye. Of which included only their arms, head, and neck, for they were robed in the attire of knights. Chainmail wrapped around their chests covered by black and brown stained tunics, which looked as if they had been trampled by muddied horses. One wore an open nasal helm, while the other wore a black barrel helm.

Despite appearing as if dead, they both contained immense strength, as one parried the sword of his enemy into the distance, causing him to lose his weapon."
