Aftokrátoras is the name given by his followers, a name in Elvish that translates to 'True King.' His true name is unknown, and those who hear him speak it become mind-addled, unable to recall his name or appearance. During the Shattering, he invaded Cadrin alongside his brood, turning the capitol to cinders as he slaughtered the royal family. He lives in the capitol of Cadrin, in the last King's castle in the loosest sense of the word. The castle was all but burned down, along with most of the capitol. He lives amongst the burnt cinders of the city, subjugating the city himself while his children conquered the rest of the country, bringing him wealth, slaves, and gold.
The Children of Aftokrátoras serve his every whim, believing him to herald the coming of his sibling, Xythys.
Those that escaped the land as it burned are unable to recall anything about Aftokrátoras, even those that witnessed his destruction of the capitol. There are no records of any being of that name before the Shattering, and it remains a mystery as to where this being came from, or what brought about his reign of terror.
