Legandary figure

Thousands of years ago Arik Taranis was a Thunder Warrior commander known to history as Victor of Gaduare, the Last Rider, the Butcher of Scandia, and the Throne Slayer. According to legend, he was taller than the Hollow Mountain and had carved the Pass of Mohan with his fists. He was a legendary figure, thought died of his wounds after raising the Banner of Lightning at the Declaration of Unity, after the Battle of Mount Ararat in the Kingdom of Uratu

Thousands of years ago, during a time of great war when all races stood divided and the power of the gods could be wielded by anyone strong enough to try, a small-time soldier named Arik Taranis uncovered a sinister plot. An evil wizard sought to harness the abundant magics of the world to devastate half the land, forcing the survivors to live under his tyrannical rule.

Noble of heart and just in cause, Arik knew he had to stop this plan. Together with his small band of men who had discovered the plot, they reported it to his lord. Believing they had gained his lord’s support, they soon realized they were betrayed. Led into a trap by their own master, Arik and his men were slain by the lord's personal guard, their deaths masked as a tragic defeat in battle.

Fueled by rage and a relentless desire to save the world from destruction and tyranny, Arik fought the gods of death who sought to claim him. Stealing a great artifact, he ascended from the depths of Hell to continue his mission. Traveling across the world, he battled anyone who opposed him, gathering followers from all races. His unmatched battle prowess and unyielding fervor revealed his extraordinary nature. His followers, moved by his tale of betrayal and impending doom, named themselves the Thunder Warriors in honor of the mighty artifact Arik wielded.

With each victory, they grew stronger, seemingly larger and more ferocious, driven by a divine belief in their cause. After a year of relentless fighting, they reached the wizard's lair, a fortress filled with conscripted soldiers, modified super-soldiers, and undead minions.

The ensuing conflict, known as the Battle of Mount Aarat, was a war to end all wars—a struggle for the unification of the continent. Amidst the siege, with both sides' numbers dwindling, Arik finally struck the killing blow to the evil wizard. With his last breath, he cursed the wizard to the gods he had once defied.

In a cataclysmic surge of magical energy, Arik achieved his goal, slaying the wizard. But the gods of death, seeing Arik weakened, claimed his soul as well. The artifact shattered into pieces, scattering across the land. The soldiers on both sides, now bereft of their leaders and sources of power, vanished. Those who survived began a desperate search for the shards—some hidden away by the wizard’s forces, others protected by Arik’s followers.

Thus began the legend of Arik Taranis, the Thunder Warriors, and the shattered artifact, destined to be reforged to save the world once more.
