Agasha Hanori is a promising young shugenja and a darling of the courts. He has won over many people in the Imperial City with his eagerness to please and happy disposition. Hanori intends to gamble, drink and socialize with the youths of many clans, possibly competing somewhere in between those activities.
Years later the now-married Hanori contacted the characters asking them to come to Otosan Uchi as he could use their help with something. Through him they were put in touch with his father-in-law, Otomo Saneda, who requested their help in finding his missing son.
