Limb Disjointment, is the act of a body rejecting a graft and the requirement of a certain kind of medicine needed to assist with movement and use of that limb or graft.
This is akin to Organ Rejection, where your body's immune system is attacking the transplanted organ. In this case the graft is dying after the host immune is attempting to kill the graft.
